Jagged Globe – Introduction to Winter Mountaineering
Today was day 3 of the course with Mike, Stuart, Emma, Rachel, Penny and Nicola. I was working with Dave Buckett. After all the training on Monday and Tuesday it was time for a journey – so we went over to Glencoe to go round the Stob Coire nan Lochan horseshoe.
I was indoors for the high pressure from a couple of weeks ago, so today was the best weather day of my season – and it’s been a long time waiting for it – at last it was suncream + sunglasses + base layers.
It was the last day with Mike, so hopefully he feels ready for his trip to the Alps now.
