On Sunday, Jamie Bankhead was working on day 2 of the Hunter Mountaineering Winter Skills weekend with Christian, Birthe and Chris. Jamie has already put his photos onto his work Facebook page – Glencoe Climbing.
This is what he wrote –
Day 2 with Chirstian, Birthe and Chris. We did a round of Stob Ban and Mullach nan Coirean. Improving weather gave us some nice views, and the team were able to take the lessons from yesterday and apply them to a classic mountain journey. Some very striking avalanche debris and fracturing cornices – some of them big enough to be called seracs!
