The Curtain
Today I teamed up with Mark Hendry to climb some fun ice on the Ben. Neither of us had managed to climb the Curtain this season, so today it was our turn. The climb is still in good condition, however it is unbelievably stepped and hooked, making it really straight forward. As usual the Curtain was really busy again, with teams on it before we got there, and a few teams on it when we left. Later we did a quick hit on Waterfall Gully, to finish a relaxed day. Before today, I can’t remember the last time I queued for a winter climb, but today it was worth it.
