Description
This 2 day course is designed to take climbers who can competently lead climb on sports routes (or indoors) & also have some experience of climbing outdoors and introduce them to leading traditionally protected routes.

- Building safe belays using single or multiple anchors
- A review of safe & competent Top Roping Belaying
- Lead Belaying – Belaying a Lead Climber on a Traditionally protected rock climb
- Lead Climbing on a Trad Rock Climb
- Abseiling with a prusik
- Setting up retrievable abseils
- What if ? ….. Planning for, or improvising solutions for, various unplanned events
