2 people = £340 per day. £680 for 2 days. £340 per person for 2 days

Maximum ratio of Instructor to Clients, 1 : 2

With 3 or 4 clients a second instructor will need to be booked – ask for details.

Pre-requisites
  • Ideally completed the “Intro to Rock Climbing, 1 Day Course” or similar
  • Ideally completed the “Progression Rock Climbing, 1 Day Course” or similar

This 2 day course is designed to take climbers who can competently lead climb on sports routes (or indoors) & also have some experience of climbing outdoors and introduce them to leading traditionally protected routes.

  • Building safe belays using single or multiple anchors
  • A review of safe & competent Top Roping Belaying
  • Lead Belaying – Belaying a Lead Climber on a Traditionally protected rock climb
  • Lead Climbing on a Trad Rock Climb
  • Abseiling with a prusik
  • Setting up retrievable abseils
  • What if ? ….. Planning for, or improvising solutions for, various unplanned events
